Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB Variant Launched: Price, Specifications

Last month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S22 series in India, with three models: Samsung Galaxy S22 5G, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus 5G, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G. Except for the throttling issue, the phones have received generally positive reviews, and this is the first time in India that the company’s S-series has arrived with a flagship Snapdragon CPU rather than an Exynos. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is available in two storage configurations.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Price, Sale Details

The Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB model costs Rs. 1,34,999 and will go on sale on March 28, 2022 at 6 p.m. IST via Samsung Live, the company’s own live shopping platform.

The Galaxy Watch4 will be available for Rs. 2,999 to customers who purchase the phone during the live sale event. The Galaxy S and Note series will receive an upgrade bonus of Rs. 8,000, while other handset owners will receive a Rs. 5,000 bonus. The Samsung webstore will be the only place to get the 1TB storage model.

The 12GB + 256GB variant costs Rs. 1,09,999, while the 12GB + 512GB version costs Rs. 1,18,999. It’s available in Burgundy and Phantom Black, with Phantom White as an option on the 256GB variant.

Specifications

The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 6.8-inch QHD+ Edge Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 240Hz sampling rate and 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a 240Hz sampling rate and 120Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, Vision Booster, and Eye Comfort Shield are also its feature.

For security, there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, AKG speakers, and S Pen support. A 5,000mAh battery with 45W cable charging, 15W wireless charging, and Wireless PowerShare functionality. 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS+GLONASS, NFC, MST, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a quad-camera configuration on the rear, with a 108-megapixel primary wide camera with f/1.8, dual pixel autofocus, and OIS.

It is also Equipped with 12-megapixel f/1.8 ultra-wide camera with 120-degree FoV, and two 10-megapixel telephoto sensors with f/2.4 and f/4.8 aperture. For selfies and video chats, it sports a 40-megapixel sensor on the front with an f/2.2 aperture.
