Samsung has been on a roll recently with the launch of a bunch of devices. This includes the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G, both of which have gone official in India recently. Now, the company seems to be working towards the launch of their Samsung Galaxy F42 5G. The Galaxy F42 has been in the leaks for quite some time now. Recently, the Galaxy M52 5G and F42 5G India launch was tipped. The smartphones will launch in India this month itself.
Now, the Galaxy F42 5G has appeared in the Geekbench benchmarking website with the model number SM-E426B. This reveals its key specifications ahead of its official launch. Another thing to note here is that the Galaxy F42 5G may launch as the Samsung Galaxy Wide 5. Previously, the device made an appearance on the Google Play Console Listing as well.

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G Specifications (leaked)
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartphone has been listed on Geekbench with the MediaTek MT6833V chipset. Now, this particular processor has been identified as the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. In addition, this octa-core processor pairs up with 6GB of RAM. paired with 6GB of RAM. On the processor front, the smartphone will run on Android 11 OS with the One UI 3.1 custom skin on top. The device scores 558 points in the single-core tests and scores 1513 points in the multi-core tests.

To recall, the variant that was spotted on the Google Play Console listing came with 6GB of RAM. In addition, the Google Play Console listing revealed the resolution of the smartphone’s display. Going by that, the smartphone will come with a resolution of 1080 x 2009 pixels. So, we are looking at a full-HD+ display and going by Samsung’s history, we can expect this to be an AMOLED display. The smartphone will also come with a waterdrop-style notch design.
