The Nokia G50 5G has recently been in the leaks and has immediately become a rumour mill favourite. However, one thing to note here is that there may be a confusion between the recently launched Moto G50 5G and this particular Nokia device. The Nokia smartphone has not made it to an official launch as of now. However, we may be getting an official launch date soon as the smartphone has been appearing in several certification websites.
The G50 5G has made an appearance across several leaks and reports already. Recently, the device made an appearance on the TENAA certification website. This revealed the key specifications of the device ahead of its official launch. Now, noted tipster TechnoAnkit has taken to Twitter to reveal that the smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Nokia G50 5G will run on Android 11 OS. Further, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. The octa-core 5G chipset will pair up with 4GB of RAM as well. Now, the Geekbench listing of the device falls in line with the TENAA certification.

Besides, HMD Global licensee Nokia had accidentally revealed the design and key specifications of the device via an Instagram post on August, 2021. Although the post was deleted later on, it did not go unnoticed. So, going by all these leaks and reports, we actually know quite a bit about the device already. Without any further ado, here is what to expect from the upcoming Nokia G50 5G smartphone:

The G50 5G will feature a big 6.83-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. Further, the budget octa-core chipset will pair up with four RAM options which include 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. The RAM options will be coupled with 64GB/128GB/256GB and 512GB storage options.

For photos and videos, the Nokia G50 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor. However, details of the other sensors are currently under wraps. At the front, the smartphone will sport an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. When it comes to software, as mentioned before, the handset will run on Android 11 OS right out of the box.

Coming to the battery, the device will pack a 4,850mAh battery. The device will also come with a modern side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The budget 5G smartphone will come with dimensions of 8.85mm in thickness and weigh 220 grams. Lastly, the Nokia G50 5G will be available in the Sea Blue and Dawn colour options.
