The Samsung Galaxy F22 is in the leaks for quite some time now. A lot of things have revealed about the upcoming device. Previously, the smartphone can come with 15W charging support. This was revealed by a TUV Rheinland listing of the smartphone. However, in a recent development, the device has surfaced on a Bluetooth SIG listing hinting it to be a rebrand of Galaxy A22. Moreover, the latter has also received NBTC certification. This hints at an imminent launch of the smartphone in India.

Samsung Galaxy F22 is a rebrand of Galaxy A22?
The two phones were listing in the same Bluetooth SIG filing yesterday (June 14). It can also be implying that the Samsung Galaxy F22 is actually a rebranded Galaxy A22 series phone. In addition, it mentions the model number for the F22 (SM-E225F_DS), hinting at a dual-SIM variant and matching up well with the Galaxy A22 line’s SM-A225 model number.

Meanwhile, it is unclear whether the Samsung Galaxy F22 is based on the 4G or 5G version of the Galaxy A22. Both models offer a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging as well as side-mounted fingerprint scanners. We can also expect it to have the Helio G80 SoC, sport a 6.4″ 90Hz HD+ Super AMOLED screen. In addition, it can boot Android 11-based One UI Core 3.1 and feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. The smartphone will have a 13MP selfie shooter inside the notch, with the rear panel housing a square-shaped quad-camera setup consisting of 48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units.

Although the 4G version offers an unnamed 4G chipset, a 90Hz OLED panel, a quad rear camera (48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP), and a 13MP selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G variant has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a 90Hz LCD screen, a triple rear camera (48MP+5MP+2MP), and an 8MP selfie snapper.
