  • The web has detailed Samsung Galaxy A53 5G specs. The upcoming Samsung phone may lack a 3.5mm headphone port. A separate jack for audio output is found on the company’s existing Galaxy A-series devices. A dust and water-resistant Samsung Galaxy A53 5G seems to exist.

    Separately, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has been revealed online. Exynos 1280 SoC is likely to be used in this A-series phone, similar to the Galaxy A53 5G. A33 design renderings have also surfaced online.

    With a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G looks to operate on Android 12. According to the tipster’s specs list, the phone sports an octa-core SoC and at least 6GB of RAM.

    The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G seems to sport a quad-camera arrangement on the back with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, and two f/2.4 sensors. The phone also has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 lens.

    According to the leaked list, onboard storage will be at least 128GB with microSD card compatibility up to 1TB. Samsung should also provide Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G lacks a 3.5mm connector and only provides wired audio output through the built-in USB Type-C connection.

    Galaxy flagships used to be devoid of a 3.5mm audio jack. The firm now looks to be doing the same with its more cheap Galaxy A-line. The Samsung Galaxy A52 came out last year with a 3.5mm jack and a USB Type-C connection.

    There was also NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11ac on the leaked specs sheet. Onboard sensors may include accelerometers, ambient light, gyroscopes, and hall sensors. It also has a 5,000mAh battery. It is also likely to be 159.6×74.8×8.1mm and 189 grammes.

    With an octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage, the alleged Samsung Galaxy A33 5G specs by Dutch website LetsGoDigital and tipster Ahmed Qwaider. According to reports, the phone can also take up to 1TB of microSD cards

    This year’s Galaxy A32 5G is reported to use the same camera arrangement. A 48-megapixel primary sensor is likely, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. There will also be a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

    The Galaxy A33 5G is believed to include a 13-megapixel selfie camera. It also has a 5,000mAh battery with 25W quick charging and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is likely to be 159.7×74.0x8.1mm and 186 grammes.

    Separately, LetsGoDigital has revealed some early renderings of the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G. On the rear of the phone, the images suggest a rectangular camera module, which seems to be a u-shaped notch on display.

    A33 5G and A53 5G specifications are yet unknown. However, according to reports, both phones will be revealed at Samsung’s Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event this month. In addition, the Galaxy A13 and A23, two of the company’s more cheap handsets in the Galaxy A-series family, were also unveiled last week.
