This Friday, Samsung quietly launched two phones from their Galaxy A-series in India – the Samsung Galaxy A13 and the Samsung Galaxy A23. Their initial launch was in the Netherlands earlier this month. They are the successors to the Samsung Galaxy A12 and Samsung Galaxy A22 respectively, which made quite a ripple in the smartphone market. The new phones feature a 6.6-inch display, 5000mAh battery, 50MP primary camera, and 8MP selfie snapper. Read on to know more about their prices and individual specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A13: Price and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A13 comes with a 6.6-inch TFT LCD display with 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 8- megapixel selfie snapper. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer for added protection and a 60Hz refresh rate. The Exynos 850 chipset paired with Mali G52 MP1 GPU powers it. The phone boots Android 12 based OneUI 4.1 custom skin out of the box.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a 3.5mm audio jack. For connectivity, it supports 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The phone features a 5,000mAh battery with support up to 25W fast charging. However, the box contains only a 15W adapter.The phone comes with a quad-camera setup on the back with a 50-megapixel f/1.8 camera with PDA and LED flash, a 5-megapixel (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro snapper, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The phone is available in three storage configurations: 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. Customers have four color options to choose from – Black, White, Light Blue, and Orange. The base version goes for Rs.14,999 while the 4GB + 128GB is priced at Rs.15,999. The top-tier model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage comes with a price tag of Rs.17,499. It is available at the official Samsung India website.

Samsung Galaxy A23: Price and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A23 features a 6.6-inch TFT LCD display with 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. There is a waterdrop notch for the 8- megapixel snapper in front for selfies and video calls. The phone is powered by an octa-core processor. Samsung has withheld further details regarding the processor, but we can expect it to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. The phone boots Android 12 based OneUI 4.1 custom skin out of the box.
