Samsung Galaxy A22 silently debuted in India – after several leaks online. Moreover, the company also launched the device silently in an offline store and now on its own website finally. The new Samsung phone comes with quad rear cameras and a waterdrop-style display notch. Other key specifications of the handset include an HD+ AMOLED display and a 48MP quad-rear camera setup. However, the smartphone first launched in Europe this month.

Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy A22 retails only in one configuration, that is – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The handset is available for a price of Rs. 18,499. The phone is currently available for purchase through the Samsung India site. However, Samsung Galaxy A22 is also likely to soon go on sale through other retail channels.

Samsung Galaxy A22 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A22 comes with a big 6.4-inch HD+ sAMOLED display. In addition, the display comes with a 90Hz fast refresh rate.
On the processor front, the smartphone comes with the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset comes alongside 6GB of RAM and 129GB of internal storage.
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy A22 will most likely run on Android 11 with the One UI 3.1 custom skin on top, right out-of-the-box. Furthermore, the handset comes with a modern side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also has 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB) through a dedicated slot.

For photos and videos, the Samsung Galaxy A22 comes with a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there are two other 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth shots, respectively. A square-shaped module houses the primary rear camera setup. On the front, the handset features a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
When it comes to battery, the Samsung Galaxy A22 packs a massive 5000mAh battery. Additionally, the battery comes with 15W fast charging support as well. Lastly, the smartphone comes with all the important connectivity options and a USB Type-C port for charging.
