Xiaomi 12 series rumours are surfacing online once again. Previous reports hint that both the Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 can launch sometime next month. Although rumours of its launch and specifications have been making rounds online for quite some time now. Now, in a recent development, Xiaomi Ingres (Xiaomi12X) may debut as Redmi K50 Pro in China. However, it might come with different monikers in other regions.

Meanwhile, reports of the phone launching as Xiaomi 12X in India and POCO F4 Pro in other parts of the globe are also surfacing online. But there is no confirmation from the company as of yet.
Xiaomi 12X: What We Know So Far
According to the reports from XiaomiMIUI, the Ingres has L11 as the model number. The same number is tied to the Redmi K50 Pro. The Ingres codename for 12X has surfaced on different IMEI databases, 22011211C in China and in India, 22011211I. The global variant of the Ingres has a 22011211G IMEI number. Moreover, the details suggest that smartphones with similar specifications will launch with different names in China, India, and other global markets.

Meanwhile, a picture of the IMEI listing of Xiaomi 12X shared by Kacper Skrzypek bears the model number 2112123AG. It has the codename “psyche”. Further, the smartphone might not arrive in India. And it won’t be surprising if the company launches a different smartphone as 12X in other parts of the world and a different one in India.

Meanwhile, rumours also hint that the Xiaomi 12X is the phone which powers on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. A recent leak by Kacper Skrzypek hinted that it has the codename Pysche and shared some specs for the smartphone. It will feature a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It will also offer a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 certified display. The smartphone could also leave the side-mounted fingerprint scanner for an in-display fingerprint scanner. Although the RAM and storage configurations are yet to be revealed, the smartphone will run on a reliable Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. Kacper also confirmed that the smartphone will have a 50-megapixel primary camera.
