iPhone SE 4 Launch Delayed: Analysts from Barclays previously expected the highly anticipated Apple iPhone SE 4 to feature an Apple iPhone 14-like design and debut next year. However, they have now postponed the launch of the fourth-generation iPhone SE until 2025.
According to rumours, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature an all-screen design resembling that of the Apple iPhone XR. This is adding to the anticipation surrounding its eventual release. Apple launched the iPhone SE’s third iteration in March last year.

According to research notes by Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis and Tom O’Malley, accessed by Macrumors, Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone SE 4 won’t make its debut next year. Instead, challenges in developing the 5G modem could potentially delay the launch of the budget-friendly handset until 2025 or later.
Apple was expected to feature its proprietary 5G modem for the first time in the eagerly awaited iPhone SE 4. However, analysts contradicted this rumour, suggesting that Qualcomm will continue as Apple’s modem supplier. It will adopt an all-screen design for iPhone SE and iPhone 16 lineup until next year as per rumours.

Rumours suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will draw design inspiration from the iPhone 14 and iPhone XR. It is expected to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with flat edges and support Face ID. Apple’s iPhone SE models deviate from the standard iPhone series’ annual release schedule. Apple historically launches a new generation approximately every two years.
To date, Apple has launched three generations of iPhone SE models, with the original iPhone SE making its debut in 2016. Last year, in March, Apple launched the latest iPhone SE (2022) at a starting price of Rs. 43,900 for the base 64GB storage variant. Powering by Apple’s A15 Bionic SoC and features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display.
It comes with a single 12-megapixel camera sensor on the back and a 7-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video chats on the front. The device offers up to 256GB storage, boasts an IP67 build, and features a Touch ID home button with a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
