Reliance Launches New Jio Fiber Postpaid Plans Starting at Rs399

Reliance Jio has unveiled its new postpaid JioFiber plans, which include a 4K set-top-box and start at Rs 399 per month. There is no “zero upfront entry cost” with the JioFiber postpaid package, and there is no security deposit or installation fee, according to the company.

Reliance Jio is providing postpaid plans starting at Rs 399 per month, with yearly and half-yearly payment options. It also includes a 4K Set Top Box at no additional cost. However, customers would be required to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 1,000. This set-top box can play content from over-the-top (OTT) apps. Subscribers on plans of Rs 999 and more would have access to up to 15 paid OTT apps.

Starting June 17, 2021, Jio Fiber Postpaid plans would be available. Reliance Jio claims to offer symmetric internet speeds, with the upload and download speeds being equal.

Reliance Jio has not yet disclosed any separate plans exclusively for postpaid users yet. The JioFiber package, on the other hand, starts at Rs 399 per month and goes up to Rs 8,499 per month.

Jio Fiber Postpaid Plans

JioFiber costs Rs 399 and includes 30 Mbps download speed, unlimited data, and a landline with unlimited calling minutes. Unlimited data and landline are included with the Rs 699 plan. It does, however, provide a 100mbps connection. This package also excludes any additional features, such as OTT subscriptions.

The Rs 999 package comes with basic features such as unlimited Internet and calls. It comes with a 150mbps download speed, 14 apps, and a Rs 1,000 service subscription. If you need more speed, the Rs 1,499 or Rs 2,499 plans provide 300 and 500 megabits per second, respectively, as well as unlimited data and local/STD calling minutes to any phone number. In addition, each comes with 15 apps and services worth Rs 1,500.

In terms of 1Gbps plans, there are a few options. JioFiber offers two options with 1Gbps speeds for Rs 3,999 and Rs 8,499, respectively. However, the biggest difference between these two plans is the unlimited data limit, which is 3300GB for Rs 3,999 and 6600GB for Rs 8,499 respectively.
