Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G series which was unveiled earlier this month will go live for sale in India today. Xiaomi’s 5G lineup includes Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G, Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G. The base model features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. Whereas the latter devices come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. Moreover, the Pro Plus handset features a triple rear camera unit led by a 200-megapixel Samsung HPX sensor.

Redmi Note 12 5G series: Price And Launch Offers
The base model is available in two RAM and storage variants. For the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant the handset costs Rs. 17,999. In contrast for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants, the starting price is set at Rs. 19,999. Moreover, the smartphone is available in Frosted Green, Matte Black, and Mystique Blue colour options.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, on the other hand, costs Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Lastly, its top-end model with 8GB RAM + 256GB has a price tag of Rs. 27,999. The handset is available in Glacier Blue, Stardust Purple, and Onyx Black shades.
Finally the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G costs Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and Rs. 32,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The handset is available in Arctic White, Iceberg Blue, and Obsidian Black colour variants. All these smartphones will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and offline retail partners starting today.

Moreover, the company is also offering an instant discount of Rs. 1,500 on the purchase of Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G using ICICI bank cards and EMI transactions, as an introductory offer. However, for Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G, this instant discount is capped at Rs. 3,000. Additionally, the company is also offering an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 4,000. Moreover, it is offering up to Rs. 1,000 instant discounts on the purchase of vanilla Redmi Note 12 5G via HDFC Bank credit card and EMI transactions.

All the 5G series handsets run on Android 12-based MIUI 13 and feature a 6.67-inch full-HD (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. They feature up to 120Hz of refresh rate and a hole-punch display design. Moreover, the base model comes with a 6nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. Whereas, the other two models feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.

When it comes to optics, the Xiaomi Redmi 12 5G is led by a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Whereas the Pro variant is led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor and the Pro Plus variant by a 200-megapixel Samsung HPX sensor. Both the base and the Pro variant support 5000 mAh battery capacity. But the former handset supports 33W fast charging and the latter supports 67W fast charging. In contrast, the Pro Plus variant features a 4,980mAh battery capacity with support for 120W fast charging.
