  • Realme has launched a bunch of different products for the Indian market today. These products also include the very first tablet by the company, the Realme Pad. With the official launch of their tablet, Realme has finally completed their 1+5+T strategy. Realme had set out to launch one product in each category of their Realme TechLife brand and have finally fulfilled it.

    The first tablet by Realme comes with a 10.4-inch display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. In addition, the tablet also comes with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio and more. Without any further ado, here is a quick rundown of the Realme Pad price and specifications.

    The Realme Pad price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the Wi-Fi only variant. This variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Further, the 4G LTE + Wi-Fi variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 15,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant. Lastly, the 4GB/64GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 17,999. The tablet comes in the Real Grey and Real Gold colour options.

    When it comes to the availability of the device, it will go on sale September 16, 2021 at 12 noon. The tablet will go on sale via Flipkart, Realme.com and partner retail stores across the country. Moving to offers, there is up to Rs. 2,000 instant discount on purchase via HDFC Bank Credit and Debit cards. Additionally, there is a flat Rs. 1,000 off on ICICI Credit card and Credit card EMI options.

    Display and Performance

    The Realme Pad features a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ display with an 82.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. Additionally, the display comes with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. comes with a light metallic body design.

    On the processor front, the Realme Pad is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The octa-core chipset comes with two Cortex A-75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. Further, it comes with six Cortex A-55 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The chipset is coupled with the Mali-G52 GPU.

    Furthermore, the chipset pairs up with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage in the Wi-Fi + 4G LTE variant. In the Wi-Fi only variant, the device comes in a single 3GB/32GB option.

    Camera Setup and Features

    Moving to optics, the Realme Pad features a single 8-megapixel 105 degree ultra-wide angle selfie sensor. The tablet also comes with a Dual-Mic Noise Cancellation feature for zero disturbances during video call sessions. On the software front, the tablet runs on Android 11 OS with the Realme UI for Pad custom skin on top. It also comes with Google Kids Space for ease of usage for kids. It also features AIoT fast unlock, screen mirroring and the Google Fast Pair features.

    Battery and Dimensions

    The tablet packs a 7,100mAh battery which claims to offer a standby time of 65 days. In addition, the tablet offers 21 hours of WhatsApp, 7 hours of Zoom calling, 6 hours of Garena Free Fire, 12 hours of YouTube and 15 hours of reading. The battery capacity of the tablet pairs up with 18W Quick Charge fast charging support. Moreover, it also comes with Reverse Charging support.

    Moving to the audio setup, the tablet features four high quality speakers and smart PA. The audio setup is backed by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support. When it comes to the dimensions of the tablet, the Realme Pad measures 6.9mm in thickness and weighs 440 grams.
