Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter to confirm the launch of the Realme GT Neo 2. The smartphone has been a rumour mill favourite for the past couple of weeks. Meanwhile, numerous leaks and reports have revealed a bunch of things about the upcoming GT series smartphone by Realme. Now, ahead of its official Indian launch, the smartphone’s also launched in China a few days ago. This gives us quite a detailed idea of the device’s specs and pricing:
Realme GT Neo 2 launch in India could happen during October 2021. Moreover, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter to confirm the launch of the device. Although, Sheth did not explicitly reveal the exact launch date of the Neo 2 in India. The poll options suggest that the phone could launch sometime in October.

Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications
To recall, Neo 2 price in China is RMB 2,499 (around ₹28,500) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Meanwhile, specifications-wise, the smartphone features a 6.62-inch Samsung E4 Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, Neo 2 powers on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It comes along with up to 12GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, Realme GT Neo 2 packs a triple camera setup on the back. It includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots. There is a 16-megapixel snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Furthermore, Realme packs a 5,000mAh battery along with 65W SuperDart Charging. The proprietary fast charging technology is claimed to fully charge the phone from zero to 100 per cent in 36 minutes.
