Realme seems to be gearing up to launch a brand new edition of the Realme GT Neo 2. The smartphone will soon be getting a Dragon Ball Z Edition. Realme CFO Francis Wong took to his official Twitter account to tease the upcoming Neo 2 edition. Besides, we also get a quick look at the back panel of the device.
Dragon Ball Z fans will immediately recognise the orange and blue theme of the back panel. The back panel design is the attire of Goku, one of the most loved characters from the franchise. Besides, the Dragon Ball Z Edition of the handset will offer the same specifications as the regular GT Neo 2. Going by that, here’s a quick look at what you can expect in terms of specifications.

Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Edition Specifications
For starters, we can expect the Realme GT Neo 2 upcoming edition to offer the same 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. In addition, the display will also come with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. What more, we will get to see the same 120Hz refresh rate along with HDR10+ support. Another thing to mention would be the peak brightness of the display which will max out at 1300 nits. Cherry on top will obviously be the same Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
On the processor front, the Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Edition will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This octa-core chipset will pair up with the Adreno 650 GPU. Further, the processor and GPU will be coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

Moving to optics, the Realme GT Neo 2 specs for the DBZ Edition will include a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include the same 64-megapixel primary sensor. At the front, the device will retain the 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

In terms of battery, the Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Edition will pack the same 5000mAh battery. This rated battery capacity will pair up with 65W fast charging support as well. Talking about software, the handset will run on Android 11 with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top. It will also retain the in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
The Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Edition specifications are exactly the same as the regular Neo 2 model in China. The handset sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that bears 2400×1080 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. There is a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection up top and an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Other features remain the same as the standard Realme GT Neo 2.
