Realme will be launching the Realme C25Y in India on September 16, 2021. After several hints and rumours, the company has confirmed the launch date via a new post on its community forum. They have also revealed the image of the handset ahead of the official launch. Meanwhile, other leaks have suggested that it will be a toned-down Lite version of the Realme C25.

Realme C25Y Launch Set For September 16
According to the rumours, the upcoming smartphone will have the same design as that of the Realme C25. It will feature a 50MP AI camera, as per the details revealed by Realme. The phone will also feature a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. We also know for sure that the smartphone will be available for sale in India via Flipkart.

Realme C25Y microsite on Flipkart has already revealed some key information about the device. According to the listing, it will pack an octa-core Unisoc T610 chipset. We can expect the device to run Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. When it comes to the Realme C25Y price in India, we can expect it to be set at under ₹10,000 price segment in India. Since the Realme C25 price in India is set at ₹9,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and ₹10,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant.

As of now, the other specifications of the Realme C25Y such as display size, battery capacity, RAM, and storage configuration details are still a mystery. However, the handset might share some similar specifications as that of the Realme C25. To recall, Realme C25 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The phone features a 48MP triple-camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera. The device draws power from a 6000mAh battery that has 18W fast charging support. Under the hood, the Realme C25 is powered by Helio G70 SoC. Connectivity-wise the handset offers features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-SIM support, 4G, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
