Realme is prepping to foray into new product categories such as laptops, pads, and more. Just last month, the brand announced its plans to bring Realme Book and Realme Pad this year. Moreover, the brand is continuously teasing the new products on official handles. Previous leaks suggested that the upcoming laptop will boot Windows 11 out of the box. However, in a recent leak, we have some 5K renders that have surfaced online. Earlier leaks suggested it is expected to be priced in India under Rs 40,000 for the base model. The notebook is expected to launch in India by the end of August 2021. Although an exact date isn’t revealed yet.

Realme Book Design Leaked

The tipster has also revealed some key specs of the upcoming Realme laptop. If we look at the renders, it looks like Realme has really taken inspiration from the Apple MacBook Pro.

The upcoming laptop from Realme will look like an affordable version of the MacBook Pro and the Surface Laptop 4. According to the leaked information, the Realme Book will measure 307 x 229 x 16mm. However, details about the weight remain unknown. Tipster OnLeaks expects the laptop to weigh under 1.5 kgs. Additionally, he also notes that Realme will launch its laptop with a 14-inch LED display. It is expecting to have a Full HD resolution.
Furthermore, Realme Book will come in multiple configurations with Intel Core i3 and i5 11th generation processors. The laptop can run Windows 10 out of the box. However, it is likely that the company will offer support for Windows 11 in the coming weeks. On the other hand, details about the RAM and SSD variants are unknown at the moment.

Furthermore, according to renders, the front display has narrow bezels, giving room for a more screen-to-body ratio. The keyboard layout and trackpad design are almost identical to Apple MacBooks. Realme Book has a power-on button on the top-right corner. This can also double up as a fingerprint sensor. It has a 3.5mm audio jack and USB-A port on the right and two USB Type-C ports on the left. Meanwhile, previous leaks suggested that the upcoming Realme laptop will have an aluminum body and super-thin bezels. It will have a 3:2 aspect ratio screen and dual speakers at the bottom.

However, we don’t know a whole lot about the actual laptop. We may have to wait a few more weeks before knowing for sure. According to Madhav Sheth, CEO Realme India – Realme Book can launch at the end of the year, alongside Realme’s first-ever tablet — the Realme Pad.
