OnePlus Nord 2 Display Specifications Confirmed Officially Ahead of July 22 Launch

OnePlus Nord 2 5G India launch is official by the company as of July 22nd. Moreover, the upcoming smartphone will be available on sale via Amazon. Its’ confirmation comes via the Amazon India listing of the product via a microsite. The smartphone is all set to launch in India on July 22, as per the teaser poster. In addition, the brand has also announced the launch date on its social media accounts.

Earlier leaks have suggested that the device will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC. However, in a new teaser, OnePlus Nord 2 5G new details regarding the display have also come out – confirming the assumptions. Let us take a look at those leaks:

Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has started revealing the key specifications of the handset with new teasers. The latest teaser from the company reveals that the phone will have a 90Hz refresh rate display. It also reveals that the upcoming Nord 2 will feature a 6.43-inch fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. OnePlus has also confirmed that the display on the upcoming successor will be HDR10+ certified. We can expect the handset to feature an optical in-display fingerprint scanner as well.

Meanwhile, the brand has not revealed the resolution of the display for the OnePlus Nord 2. However, the leaks regarding the device suggest that the screen will have a Full-HD+ resolution just like the OnePlus Nord.

OnePlus Nord2 5G Other Expected Specifications

Now, that display specs are confirmed – let us take a look at the other specs of the device. On the processor front, the smartphone will carry the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset will pair with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. However, the internal storage on the device may not be expandable. Furthermore, the OnePlus Nord 2 will most likely run on Android 11 OS right out of the box.

For photos and videos, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will come with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, the setup will also include a tertiary 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone could sport a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
