To recall, Realme launched their Realme 8i in India. Now, the brand is all set to launch its successor, the Realme 9i, soon. The 9i is the base model in a series of four models, namely, the Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro Plus. The base model renders have surfaced online this time around. It also reveals the specifications for the upcoming model.
According to a new report by The Pixel, the device will be launching sometime in January 2022. Now, the renders of the upcoming Realme 9i have surfaced on the web. Interestingly, the leaked renders reveal that it will look similar to the Realme GT Neo 2. Let us take a quick look at the expected specs:

Realme 9i: Renders and Design
According to the renders, it has a design language similar to that of the Realme GT Neo 2. It will offer a modern bezel-less display with a punch-hole notch that will reside in the top left corner. There is also a sizeable chin at the bottom. On the back, the device will house a triple rear camera setup and an LED flash which will reside on the top left corner insider a rectangular module. The camera layout on the upcoming 9i is reminiscent of the GT Neo 2 camera layout.

Realme 9i Specifications (Expected)
It will feature a 6.5-inch LCD display. In addition, this will be an HD+ display for cost-cutting purposes. On the processor front, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. This is the same chipset that was first featured with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro.
The octa-core chipset will most likely pair up with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Talking about optics, the Realme 9i specs will include a quad rear camera setup. The setup will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there will also be two 2-megapixel sensors in the setup for macro and depth shots, respectively.

Furthermore, Realme 9i is expected to come with a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. In terms of battery, the mid-ranger is expected to pack a big 5000mAh battery. This rated battery capacity will most likely pair up with either 18W or 33W fast charging support.
