Realme is right now gearing up to officially launch two devices, namely, the Realme 8i and Realme 8s in India. The launch date for the devices has scheduled for September 9, 2021. Besides, both the devices have surfaced in the leaks for quite some time now. The Realme8s surfaced online back in July of this year. However, the Realme8i is a comparatively newer rumour mill favourite. Now, a Realme executive says that the company will be also making an announcement regarding the realme 9 series at this event. Moreover, the brand has even confirmed to debut its first-ever tablet called realme Pad at this event.

Recently, Francis Wong, CMO of Realme India and Europe, officially confirmed the existence of the realme 9 series via a tweet. According to him, the brand will make a ‘big announcement’ concerning the upcoming smartphones at its September 9 launch event. However, as of now, there is nothing we know of the series apart from this. We can expect the new number lineup from realme to include realme 9, realme 9Pro, realme 9Prime, and realme 9A.
According to other leaks and reports, the Realme Pad will come with a big 10.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The tablet has also made an appearance on the TUV Rheinland certification website. Now, this revealed that the Realme Pad packs a 7,100mAh battery. Whereas, Realme 8i will sport a 6.59-inch FHD+ 120Hz display with a punch-hole design. On the processor front, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. Meanwhile, Realme 8s will sport a 6.5-inch 90 Hz refresh rate display. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.

Since these phones are at least a week away from their announcement, we expect to learn more about them and Realme 9 in the coming days.
