Realme launched their 9 Pro series of handsets in India on February 16 2022. A week later, the Realme 9 Pro 5G from the series is all set to go on its very first sale in the country today. Prior to this, the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G already went up on its first sale on February 21 2022. Besides, as a launch offer on the 9 Pro 5G, users can also avail a Rs. 2,000 discount. Realme 9 Pro 5G Price in India, Availability & Offers
The price of the smartphone in the country starts at Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 20,999.
When it comes to the availability of the handset, it will go on sale via Flipkart from 12 PM IST today. The handset will be available for purchase in the Sunrise Blue, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Blue colour options.
Realme 9 Pro 5G Specifications
Starting off with the display, the Realme 9 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display. In addition, the display also offers a fast 120Hz refresh rate on a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. We also get to see a 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top.

Under the hood, the standard Realme 9 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. This octa-core chipset pairs up with the Adreno 619 GPU. The chipset and GPU are coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Further, the internal storage is expandable via a microSD card slot.
Moving to optics, the newly launched 9 Pro series device sports a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Realme 9 Pro packs a big 5000mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support. We also get essential connectivity options like 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS and a USB Type-C port for charging. In terms of software, the handset runs on Android 12 OS with the Realme UI 3.0 custom skin on top. Also, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
