Realme is ready to host an event in India on September 9 which will serve as a platform to unveil a bunch of new devices. The list of products that will launch at the event includes Realme 8i, 8s and the Realme Pad. The company will also launch its new Bluetooth speakers at the event.

Ahead of the launch, Realme dropped several teasers for its upcoming products. The latest one is that of the Realme 8s. The video itself doesn’t reveal much more than just the first look of the device’s rear panel. Realme confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, the first for a phone in India.

Realme 8s Features
Realme 8s is scheduled for launch on September 9 in India. The teaser video dropped reveals the device’s design. The video exhibits the phone’s square-shaped quad-camera module on the back. However, the teaser video does not reveal any details about the camera sensors. Expectations are that the phone might have a 64MP or even a 108 MP primary camera, coupled with an 8 MP ultrawide lens, a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The teaser post also confirms that the device will support up to 13 GB of Dynamic RAM. This indicates that the smartphone might initially come with up to 8 GB of RAM and use 5GB of the phone’s internal memory as virtual RAM. Realme has also confirmed that 8s will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC under the hood, which is the first in India.
Specifications leak reveals that the phone will have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate support. It will sport a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner for the front camera. It might also pack a 5000 mAh battery with 33 W DART charging support. The device will ship with Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
