Recently, iQOO launched its iQOO 8 series comprising of the standard variant and the Pro variant in China last month. The brand is now ready to enter the flagship series to the Indian market. This is confirmed as the smartphone in question appeared on Geekbench with the model number i2017. If rumours are to be believed, the particular model is indeed the 8 Pro Indian variant.
The listing leads to the revealing of some key specs of the phone. It also paves way for the release of the iQOO 8 Pro model in the country that too very soon, but an official confirmation is still awaited for the same. A separate listing of the device on Google Play Console earlier revealed certain specs already. The listing tipped that the phone would feature 1080 X 2376 pixels resolution, 440 PPI pixels density, 8GB RAM, Adreno 660 GPU, and Android 11 OS.

iQOO 8 Pro specifications
The tips so far confirm that the iQOO 8 Pro specifications will include a larger 6.78-inch 2K Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will sport a 20:9 aspect ratio, 92.2 % screen-to-body ratio, and a 517 PPI display. Along with it, the phone display will also accompany HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The iQOO 8 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC paired with 660 GPU, 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage. It boots Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0 custom skin out of the box. The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 120 W fast-charging, 50 W fast wireless charging, and 10 W reverse wireless charging.

iQOO 8 Pro will feature a 50 MP Sony IMX766V primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture and gimbal stabilisation. It will also feature a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 16 MP portrait lens with f/2.23 aperture. There will also be a 16 MP snapper on the front with an f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video chats. The phone will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It will also have connectivity features such as 5G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port.
