Ubisoft has been behind giving us some of the best titles ever in gaming history. This includes the Prince of Persia and Assassin’s Creed franchise as well. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is still regarded as one of the best told and developed classic games till date. The game’s remake was announced last year itself and sadly, has been delayed multiple times already.
Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake was set to release earlier this year and now, it seems like we have to wait a little more longer to play the game. The official Prince of Persia Twitter handle tweeted a small update. Now, this is something to keep the players hoping and rooting for the game to finally happen. However, something else reveals the release date.

Prince of Persia Sand of Time Remake Delay
Going by Ubisoft’s earnings report, we may actually be looking at a delay to 2023. Yes, there are high chances for the classic remake to be delayed by an entire year. Seems like Ubisoft wants the game to be more polished before officially releasing it. As Prince of Persia spends more time being under development, the game makers have officially released a small update to reassure players of the game that it is still in the works.

Going by Cyberpunk 2077’s failure, it is always better to delay a game than release an unfinished product. Game developers and publishers have become increasingly cautious after CD Projekt RED’s failure and we have been seeing more delays than ever before. In addition, the ongoing pandemic is playing a huge role in causing these delays as well.

However, the good news is that Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake is actually on and under development. So, we can definitely expect to play the game in the near future. Two of the best example of this would be the Alan Wake Remaster and the upcoming GTA V: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
