Poco is expanding its budget smartphone M-series lineup by launching Poco M3. It is taking on so many other budget smartphones in the market like Redmi Power 9. Both of these devices come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor, a big battery, and high-resolution cameras. So, it does get tough to choose between the two. How do you compare them?

Poco M3 vs Redmi 9 Power: Price in India
The former’s price in India starts from Rs 10,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. Whereas, for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, it will cost Rs 11,999.
On the other hand, Redmi 9 Power with 4GB + 64GB comes with a starting price of Rs 10,999. Whereas, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model is available at Rs 11,999.

Design
- Redmi 9 Power, features a 6.53-inch FHD+ panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 400nits of brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
- The new Poco M3 phone comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
- However, both of these devices offer support for a 60Hz display. In addition, these come with a waterdrop-style notched display.

- Both of these draws power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC.
- They both will almost offer similar performance but differences can come with respect to the OS running in the device.

- Poco M3 offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor compared to Redmi Power 9’s rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

- In terms of the rear camera, Poco M3 features a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
- Whereas, Redmi 9 Power features a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
- However, in terms of a selfie camera, Poco offers an 8MP camera. Whereas, Redmi Power 9 has an 8MP front camera.
