POCO’s much-anticipated POCO F5 5G midrange smartphone has been making the rounds on the internet, implying its release is imminent. Industry sources have now revealed the upcoming mid-range device’s anticipated launch date. For context, the POCO F5 5G India edition will likely have the 23013PC75I model number, a new Snapdragon 7XX series chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, and an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
According to our sources, the POCO F5 5G will release on April 6. The company has yet to confirm this date, so take it with a grain of salt. Moreover, POCO plans to reveal the phone in the first week of April.

POCO F5 5G Specifications (Expected)
The POCO F5 5G is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is set to ship in China soon. The POCO F5 5G will likely include a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a brightness of up to 1,400 nits, HDR10+ compatibility, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will now be powered by the all-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. This implies that the POCO F5 may also receive the same chipset. The POCO F5 will also have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone will likely run the newest Android 13 mobile operating system with a skin on top.
A triple camera system with a 50-megapixel primary shooter, 8-megapixel, and 2-megapixel secondary shooter will likely be featured at the rear. An LED flash will be included with this camera setup. The POCO F5 5G will likely launch with a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The POCO F5 5G is powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging.
