Poco F3 GT may launch in India as a rebrand of Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. The latter made its debut in China earlier this year. As per a tipster, both smartphones have the same model numbers. However, there is no information about the phone from the Chinese company. Moreover, the company hasn’t revealed an exact release date other than that the phone will arrive in Q3 of 2021.

To recall, Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition packs a few dedicated gaming features such as retractable shoulder buttons, tuned audio, and a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC with up to 12GB RAM. The rumors say that Poco F3 GT is a rebranding of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.
POCO F3 GT India Leaks
In a recent leak, the phone has received the Indian BIS certification hinting the launch of the smartphone is just around the corner. The smartphone had recently cleared TUV Rheinland certification. Let us take a look at the details.

The device carries the model number M2104K10I, which confirms that it is indeed a variant of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced edition. The ‘I’ in this model number could point at the Indian-specific variant. If it is indeed – Redmi K40 Gaming Phone, the specs would more or less be the same. Poco F3 GT might feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and it might feature up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The POCO F3 GT could have a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front-facing camera could be a 16MP unit. We can expect it to have a 5,056mAh battery, 67W charging speed, and 5G connectivity.

On the US retailer website, it lists a price tag of $1,299.99 (roughly Rs. 95,300). However, it is possible that it is not the pricing of the Poco F3 GT, given the hardware. The phone, on the other hand, can come at a much lesser price of around Rs. 25,000 in India.
The company is yet to announce the launch date for the POCO F3 GT. Though we can anticipate the company to reveal its features in the weeks running up to the event.
