OPPO Reno 7 series is apparently already in the works but we can expect some time gap before it launches. This is because the Oppo Reno6 series has just hit the markets. Earlier, a tipster claimed that the successor Reno7 series will come with a metal frame design and a punch-hole cutout at the left corner. The same tipster, Digital Chat Station has tipped some key camera details of the OPPO Reno7.

Oppo Reno 7 camera sensor tipped
According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Reno7 series will come with a largely improved camera setup. Although this time around, the Oppo Reno vanilla variant might come with a different main camer. It will be the one that features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 sensor. However, if we recall the Reno6 series consists of three devices – Oppo Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and Reno6 Pro Plus. Now, from standard version, the tipster means the vanilla Oppo Reno 7 here.

Now, the Reno 6 sports a 1/2.0-inch 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor with 0.7-micron pixels. In comparison, the Sony IMX766 is a 1/1.56-inch sensor with 1.0-micron native pixels. The native pixels can grow to 2.0 microns with 4-in-1 binning, and the sensor supports DOL-HDR All-Pixel autofocus. However, now, the vanilla Oppo Reno 7 might come with a triple camera setup on the back and a notification LED ring.

Meanwhile, previous leaks also suggest the Oppo Reno 7 will have a similar design to that of the Oppo Reno6. It will come with a flat display and punch-hole camera cut-out. The device is also expecting to feature a metal frame and a three-camera setup on the back. The Oppo Reno7 series is expected to launch in China soon. Along with the Reno7 series, the Oppo Pad tablet is also expected to be unveiled.
