OPPO Find X5 Series: Specs & Renders Leaked

OPPO recently took the covers off of their Find X5 Series launch date. The brand is all set to launch their OPPO Find X5 series on February 24 2022. This upcoming series will include the OPPO Find X5, OPPO Find X5 Pro and OPPO Find X5 Lite models. Now, the Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition specs have been leaked. Additionally, the Find X5 Lite renders have also been unveiled ahead of official launch.

For starters, noted tipster Evan Blass took to Twitter to unveil the design renders of the Find X5 Lite. Meanwhile, a report by GizmoChina reveals the key specifications of the Find X5 Dimensity Edition. Besides, both the standard OPPO Find X5 and X5 Pro have made an appearance WPC aka Wireless Power Consortium website. This reveals the wireless charging details of the upcoming handsets. Without any further ado, let us take a look at all these newly leaked details!

OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition Specifications (Leaked)

As per the GizmoChina report, we get to know that the Dimensity Edition of the model will feature a big 6.7-inch QHD+ E4 AMOLED display. In addition, the display will reportedly offer a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels. We will also get to see a fast 120Hz refresh rate panel. Besides, GizmoChina dives deeper into the display details. They unveil the display to be built upon LTPO 1.0 tech. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant will sport the LTPO 2.0 tech instead.

On the processor front, the OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition has already been confirmed to be powered by the Dimensity 9000 SoC. This octa-core chipset will pair up with a single 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage variant. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon variant will offer three variants. These include the 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB models.

Talking about optics, the upcoming flagship will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. Additionally, the primary sensor will also offer dual OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). We will also get to see a Samsung S5K3M5 telephoto sensor in the setup, as per the GizmoChina report. At the front, the smartphone is said to sport a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor for selfies and video calls.

When it comes to the battery and charging details, the GizmoChina report has revealed something on that front as well. The upcoming Oppo Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition will pack a big 5000mAh battery. This battery capacity will be coupled with 80W fast charging support. In addition, we will also get to see 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging support.

In terms of software, the upcoming flagship device will run on Android 12 with the ColorOS 12.1 custom skin on top. As per the GizmoChina report, we are also looking at an IP68 certified smartphone. Moreover, the report suggests NFC support along with a dual stereo speaker setup. The device will come with dimensions of 163.7×73.9×8.5mm and weighs 216 grams.

OPPO Find X5 Lite Renders

When Evan Blass revealed the renders of the Find X5 Lite, first impressions immediately gave off a very OPPO Reno 7 vibe. From the looks of it and as per multiple reports, the smartphone will probably be a rebranded Reno 7 after all.

Besides, we also get to see a triple rear camera setup on the handset, thanks to the renders. As per the renders, we also get to see the term “64MP” etched on the module. This easily suggests that the handset will sport a 64-megapixel primary rear camera sensor.

The handset went official in China back in November of 2021. Then, earlier this month, it went official in the Indian market. However, it featured a different list of specifications in India. Now, only time will tell whether the OPPO Find X5 Lite will indeed be a rebadged Reno 7.
