The OnePlus Nord CE 5G has started receiving the OxygenOS 11.0.5.5 update in India. The latest OxygenOS update brings several changes to the Nord CE 5G. These include system stability improvements alongside camera improvements as well. Moreover, the update is rolling out in India for now and nothing has been revealed about the regions which will receive the update.
However, one thing to note here is that like the OxygenOS 11.2.4.4 update that the OnePlus 9R has started receiving recently, this does not bring any bundled security patch update. Moreover, this is the fourth update for the OnePlus Nord CE 5G in the country. Previous updates have brought along several camera improvements and now, this update brings system improvements as well.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G OxygenOS 11.0.5.5 Update Changelog
The OxygenOS 11.0.5.5 update for the OnePlus Nord CE 5G comes with the 11.0.5.5.EB13DA firmware version. Although OnePlus has not officially revealed anything about the update, users are silently receiving it. Going by the changelog for the OxygenOS 11.0.5.5 update, the Nord CE 5G is getting an optimised overheating control management. This aims to fix the overheating issues of the phone dealing with installing and using third-party apps. Additionally, the update also brings an improved system stability to the device. The update also fixes a couple of the glitches that have been reported the most by its users.

Furthermore, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G cameras also receive enhancements via the latest update. The update brings more image clarity and overall camera stability to the device. Additionally, the update also brings a white balance consistency which offers an enhanced image uniformity. Moreover, the Nightscape Mode image quality of the device has also been enhanced.
However, the OxygenOS 11.0.5.5 update does not bring any Android security patch. When it comes to the size of the update, it is 184MB. The update will not roll out to all the OnePlus Nord CE 5G devices at once. So, users have to be patient as it will gradually roll out to everyone. Users of the device can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > System > System updates.
