OnePlus Nord CE 2 OxygenOS 13 Stable Update Released: How To Download

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, released in February of last year with Android 11 pre-installed, is receiving an update to the latest Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 in India. This update is currently being released to users enrolled in the company’s open beta program in India. And will be gradually rolled out to all customers. The OxygenOS 13 update includes performance improvements, new security and privacy features, home widgets, and the Aquamorphic Design.

Oxygen OS 13 Update: More Details

The Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 in India is initially available to users who have signed up for the open beta program, as stated in a post by OnePlus on its Community page. The update comes with new customization features like the Aquamorphic Design theme colours, and Quantum Animation Engine 4.0. Along with optimised widgets, fonts, system icons, and a home screen world clock widget.

OnePlus has also improved the phone’s security and privacy features in the Android 13 update. By adding an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption support for files on the device. In addition, the update enhances system speed, stability, battery life, app experience, and gaming with HyperBoost GPA 4.0. Moreover, it also includes redesigned media playback controls, optimised Quick Settings, and a Sidebar Toolbox floating window.

OnePlus Android 13 Update: How To Download

To download the update, users can manually check for the update in the Settings app. Thereafter, select the Software update option. Thereafter, download the update on your OnePlus Nord CE 2. The handset is receiving its second major OS update, OxygenOS 13 after the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 update in August 2022.
