The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G has been in rumours among mobile geeks for quite some time now. OnePlus has not yet confirmed the development of any Nord-series smartphone. However, before any official announcement, the handset has allegedly bagged certifications from the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This pretty much acts as a confirmation that the phone will soon arrive in Indian and other markets. Past leaks have suggested a 4,500mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging support on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The handset is expected to come with an initial price tag of Rs. 20,000 in India.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G Possible Specs and Features
A tweet by known tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) shows the alleged TDRA and BIS listings of the phone.
This tweet shows that OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G with model number CPH2409 has bagged approval from TDRA. Further, the BIS listing of the phone has a similar model number – CPH2401.

The rumoured phone has also been seen in a Geekbench listing with the model number GN2200. It has a single-core score of 678 points and a multi-core score of 1,932 points. The scores suggest that an octa-core processor might power the phone. We speculate that the chipset may either be the Snapdragon 695 or Snapdragon 480+ SoC. The listing also shows that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite might come with 6GB of RAM and run on Android 11.
A few leaked renders of the phone show that the phone has a hole-punch display design. Further, we expect it to feature a 6.59-inch full-HD Fluid screen and a 16-megapixel front snapper.

Besides TDRA and BIS, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite was also spotted on several certifications and benchmarking websites, including the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Camerafv5, UL (Demko) and the TUV Rheinland certification site. This gives us a suggestive indication of the key specifications of the phone. The phone would probably come with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC charging. The list also says that it has a 64-megapixel main sensor and could support 5G, Bluetooth connectivity, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
