OnePlus Nord 2 5G Launching Today: How To Watch Livestream, What To Expect

OnePlus Nord 2 the successor to the OG Nord that launched back in 2020 is finally launching today. The company is continuing to market the upcoming Nord smartphone. Moreover, leaks and rumors of the same have surfaced quite a lot in the past few weeks already. Although there are some confirmed specs of the smartphone already revealed. How, When and Where to Watch the Livestream

OnePlus Nord 2 India launch event will be streamed live on YouTube. The launch event, according to the company, will start at 07:30pm IST. We can expect the live stream to begin at the same time.

OnePlus Nord 2 Specifications (Confirmed and Leaked)

Thanks to the marketing from the brand, it is confirmed that it will feature an AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. They are calling this screen the Fluid AMOLED display. However, they have not revealed the size and the resolution of the screen. According to some leaked information, the display will be a 6.43-inch unit with FHD+ resolution.

Meanwhile, leaked renders show that the OnePlus Nord 2 will have three cameras at the rear and one camera at the front. The company has already revealed that the primary camera at the rear is a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. However, the remaining two camera details are yet to be known. Although leaks hint that these are 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensors. Moreover, the front camera will include 32MP unit.

In terms of processor, the company has announced that OnePlus Nord 2 will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI processor. It is apparently an advanced variant of the Dimensity 1200 that are in other smartphones. Additionally, this will be exclusive to the upcoming smartphone as it has dedicated AI features to enhance imaging capabilities.

Other leaked details suggests that OnePlus Nord 2 will be available in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The phone will most probably ship with the Android 11 OS and Oxygen OS 11.1 customization. We have also learnt that the OnePlus Nord 2 will have a 4,500mAh battery. Furthermore, the 65W Warp Charge fast-charging tech has been confirmed officially.

A previous report hints about the pricing of the new Nord 2, which is said to start at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. Whereas it can go up to Rs 34,999 for the 12GB and 256GB storage model.
