Galaxy A22 5G India Launch Date Set for July 23: Expected Price, Specifications

Earlier reports hinted that Galaxy A22 5G launch could happen sometime next month. However, the company now confirms that the launch for the smartphone will take place on July 23rd. Although this smartphone has already launched in European markets. Apparently, the pricing for the phone for its two RAM + storage configurations can start from just under Rs. 20,000.

Meanwhile, previous report suggests the 6GB+128GB variant of the smartphone will be available for Rs 19,999 in India. Whereas, the 8GB+128GB Galaxy A22 5G model will be available for purchase at Rs 21,999 in the country.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Specifications

The upcoming 5G smartphone by Samsung comes with a large 6.6-inch full-HD+ display. Additionally, the display comes with a notch design at the front alongside a 90Hz fast refresh rate. On the processor front, the upcoming Samsung smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the internal storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot for A22 5G.

For photos and videos, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there is also a 2-megapixel depth sensor in the setup. On the front, the handset comes with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

On the battery front, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G packs a large 5000mAh battery. This is smaller than the 6000mAh battery that the Galaxy M series phones pack, but it is more than enough to last a day. Moreover, the smartphone also comes with a 15W fast charging support.
