OnePlus already has several variants of earbuds including OnePlus Buds and Buds Z which already offer good features. However, they do not have Active Noise Cancellations. However, the Lite variant will have this advancement which makes it unique that too at a lower price.
With speculations going around, the Buds Pro-Lite might choose to opt-out of wireless charging support to lower the price and putting in the ANC and decent sound quality. Such a move will bring OnePlus to the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 and Apple’s AirPods by undercutting them and the recently launched OnePlus Buds Pro.

OnePlus Buds Pro Features
The OnePlus Buds Pro features an 11 mm dynamic driver alongside Dolby Atmos support. OnePlus also added a triple-mic setup that can filter out noises up to 40dB to offer a comfortable and better experience. This comes as an improvement in comparison to generic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) systems that have fixed ANC levels.
Buds Pro have an IP55 rating and also comes with LHDC support and 94ms latency. The earbud boasts up to 38-hours of battery life, and also 10-hours of playback with a quick 10-minute charge using the Warp Charge. The Buds come with the support of wirelessly charging the device using a Qi-certified wireless charger, but it will be slower than wired charging.
