OnePlus 9 Pro scores an impressive A+ score on its DisplayMate review. It is setting or matching 13 smartphone display performance records. It is getting a name for its “visually indistinguishable from perfect” color accuracy, contrast accuracy, and intensity scale accuracy. Moreover, it also shows the smallest change in peak luminance with the image content average picture level (APL), and more. Furthermore, DisplayMate calls the display “an excellent top tier world-class smartphone display” for its vivid color mode and accurate DCI-P3 content.

Furthermore, the OnePlus 9 Pro screen also got high marks on contrast accuracy and intensity scale accuracy. It is brighter than 8 Pro’s screen, with different modes prioritizing either brightness or color accuracy. The Advanced AMOLED mode proves better at retaining color gamut in bright indoor and outdoor lighting. To test the brightness, Auto-Brightness was turned off. In turn, the High Brightness Mode was able to peak at 1,655 nits brightness.

Speaking of the bright outdoors, the OnePlus 9 Pro has only 4.4% screen reflectance, again one of the very best measured by DisplayMate. It has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 3K resolution full-HD+ (1,440×3,216 pixels) screen, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz screen refresh rate.
