OnePlus 12 Series Launch In India: Everything You Need To Know

OnePlus 12 Series Leak Pricing And Offers

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 12 Series during an event in India at 7:30 PM IST on January 23, 2024. The event will be available for live streaming on YouTube.

Moreover, the OnePlus 12 is already on sale in China, while the OnePlus 12R will be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 3. The OnePlus 12 will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in India, while the OnePlus 12R will rely on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

The leaked prices of the OnePlus 12 reveal it could start at Rs.64,999 for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Furthermore, another variant of the phone with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage could cost Rs.69,999.

But another leak suggests the OnePlus 12 may start at Rs. 55,999 for the base variant and Rs.61,999 for the top variant with bank offers. Similarly, the OnePlus 12R could retail for Rs.39,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs.41,999 for the 16GB+256GB model inclusive of offers.

However, the actual price of the OnePlus 12 could be Rs.61,999 and Rs.68,999 for the base and top variants, respectively. Moreover, the OnePlus 12R could retail for Rs.44,999 and Rs.48,999 without any offers.

The OnePlus Buds 3, on the other hand, could cost Rs.12,999 and Rs.10,499 with bank offers. It will arrive as the successor to the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro.

In addition, there will be early bird offers for the device, which includes an exchange bonus, bank discounts, gifts for the first 1,000 orders, a 50 per cent discount on protection plans, No-cost EMI and Rs.3,000 off on the OnePlus Pad.

OnePlus 12 And 12R Specifications

The OnePlus 12 features a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ LTPO OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the OnePlus 12R will have a 6.78-inch ProXDR AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO 4.0 support.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset powers the 12 while the 12R will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with 16GB of RAM. Both phones will run on Oxygen OS 14 based on Android 14.

The OnePlus 12 will have up to 512GB of storage, while the 12R will offer up to 256 GB. OnePlus will also provide four years of software updates on the OnePlus 12 and three years on the 12R

For optics, the OnePlus 12 features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor with OIS support and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom. In addition, there is a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 32-megapixel selfie sensor.

Similarly, the OnePlus 12R will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 890 sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens. Moreover, there will be a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
