Google launched its flagship Pixel 8 series last year with AI-packed features and seven years of software support. The Pixel 8 series includes the Google Pixel 8 and the Google Pixel 8 Pro.

The company has now teased the launch of a new colour variant for the Pixel 8 series. Here is everything you need to know about the new Mint colour for the Pixel 8 series.
Google Pixel 8 To Get New Mint Green Colour
In a post on X (Formerly Twitter), the company shared a binary sequence that translates to “Fresh Year, fresh drop” with a link to a Google Store. Furthermore, the teaser is accompanied by a video that shows the text “itsaliving” written on the Bay Blue colour of the phone.

The video also teases the date as January 25, 2024, meaning the new colour for the Pixel 8 could debut on that date at the Google Store. In addition, Google is also conducting a mural painting event in New York City in collaboration with a painter known as “itsaliving” on the same date.
Both the mural and new colour will launch on January 25, 2024. There are no details on whether this new colour could launch in India.
Pixel 8 Series Specifications
The Google Pixel 8 sports a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Similarly, the Pixel 8 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Tensor G3 chipset powers both phones paired with 8GB RAM and up to 12GB RAM, respectively. Both devices run on Android 14 out of the box and have up to 256GB storage in India.
For optics, both phones have a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor with OIS support. There is a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor on the Pixel 8 and a 64-megapixel on the 8 Pro.

Furthermore, the Pro also gets a 48-megapixel telephoto lens with up to 30x Super Res zoom. On the front, there is an 11-megapixel camera on both devices.
The Pixel 8 packs a 4,575mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging and 18W wireless charging. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro has a 5,050mAh battery with 30W wired and 23W wireless charging.
