Nothing Phone (2a) Design Revealed Ahead Of Official Launch

Nothing has been teasing the launch of its mid-range Phone (2a) for a while now, and the phone will arrive in the country next month. The Nothing Phone (2a) will be a spiritual successor to the Nothing Phone (1) and a more affordable version of the Nothing Phone (2).

Ahead of the official launch, the company unveiled the Nothing Phone (2a) design, ending all speculations, leaks, and rumours. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming smartphone, including its expected price, specifications and features.

Nothing Phone (2a) Design Showcases Vertical Camera Design

Nothing has posted a video on X that showcases the Phone (2a) design in its white colour. It will have a transparent back panel with the camera placed horizontally in the centre.

Furthermore, the Nothing Phone (2a) design will also incorporate the Glyph interface with three LEDs surrounding the camera module. It aligns with the previously leaked renders of the phone, which revealed the device’s design.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is confirmed to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset paired with paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM with virtual memory. Moreover, the phone will also have a Smart Clean feature to optimise the UFS storage for prolonged usage.

The company has also added an Adaptive NTFS feature to improve the data transfer speeds on Windows. It has worked closely with MediaTek to optimise the software and claims it will offer improvements in performance over the Nothing Phone (1).

The Nothing Phone (2a) leaks have revealed it will cost Rs.23,999 in India for the 8GB+128GB variant. Furthermore, the higher-end variants of the device are likely to have a price tag of around Rs.30,000.

The Nothing Phone (2a) will boast a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the phone will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset paired with up to 8GB or 12GB of RAM.

It will ship with Nothing OS 2.5.2 based on Android 14 paired with up to 256GB of RAM. The phone will sport a 50-megapixel and 50-megapixel ultrawide angle lens. On the front, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie sensor.

The Nothing Phone (2a) will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging. In addition, the phone will have an AI wallpaper generation feature similar to the Google Pixel 8 series.
