Back in 2019, Nvidia released their GTX 1650 Desktop GPU and made headlines. This entry-level graphic card was an immediate hit and now, the toned-down cousin of the card is all set to hit the stores soon. According to a report by VideoCardz, Nvidia has set the launch date of the card for May 31, 2022. So, we are just ten days away from getting to know everything about the new Nvidia GPU.
Furthermore, Nvidia is all set to kick off its much-awaited Computex event on May 23, 2022. Hopefully, some solid details about the GPU will be revealed at the event. Upon release, the card will most likely directly go against the likes of AMD Radeon RX 6400.

Nvidia GTX 1630 Desktop GPU Specs
Although this is a GTX series card we are talking about, do not think that it may not come with adequate power. Although this is a toned-down version of the GTX 1650, it reportedly offers way more clock speed, suggests the VideoCardz report. While the GTX 1650 offers a peak clock speed of 1665 MHz, 1630 will be able to reach up to 1800 MHz. Besides, it will do so by requiring the same 75W power. So, it will actually not require much power at all.

Moreover, reports also suggest that the card will be dirt cheap. Entry-level gamers will soon be able to call a brand new card their favourite one so far. The only downside to the entire deal is that, will it be worth it?
GPU prices started skyrocketing back in 2020 due to the global chip shortage. Now that the COVID-19 pandemic has lost its grip and the chip shortage scenario has started getting better, will this upcoming Nvidia Desktop GPU get its market? It is very difficult to say anything at this point. Only time will tell whether the card will be an entry-level hit or an utter disappointment.
