On October 1, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 5G services in India. This launch took place at the India Mobile Congress 2022 event. So far, Airtel and Jio have released rollout plans, and their services are already rolling out in the selected cities. Now, Motorola to get 5G updates soon.
The services can be used only if 5G support is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones. The OEMs need to push an OTA update for this support. However, some Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, and OPPO phones already have this support. Also, some will get them shortly. Airtel has recently released a list of smartphones, but Motorola was missing from it.

Motorola has now announced that it is one of the smartphone manufacturers in India. Also, it has produced the maximum percentage of 5G devices in the country.
It even mentions that 11 to 13 5G bands are supported on its smartphone across categories. This includes all 8 Sub 6GHz 5G bands that were announced in India. It has even released the timeline for software availability.

Timeline By Motorola
Motorola has announced the timeline for the OTA rollout. It will enable the 5G network on its smartphones. Motorola mentions that its phones across the range support 11 to 13 bands, including all 8 Sub 6GHz 5G bands. These OTA updates will enable 5G across both SA (Reliance Jio) and NSA (airtel and Vi) 5G modes simultaneously on Motorola devices.

This OTA update is already available on the new launches of Motorola Moto Edge 30 Ultra and Motorola Moto Edge 30 Fusion. Motorola says it plans to complete the target by the first week of November 2022.
