Following the release of several budget and mid-range phones in the G-series, Lenovo-owned Motorola appears to be preparing to launch its next flagship phone, dubbed the Motorola Moto Frontier 5G. According to rumours, the phone will be the first to include a 200-megapixel primary camera on the back, aided by top-of-the-line specifications. An alleged live shot of the phone has surfaced online, providing a closer look at the camera.

Motorola Frontier Specs (Expected)
According to rumours, the Motorola Frontier will be the world’s first smartphone shipping with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset, which will become official in June. At the same time, we are waiting for Motorola’s announcement.
The camera module design on the Motorola Frontier is similar to that of the Xiaomi 12. With the primary main sensor on top and two regular lenses below. A tiny strap next to the camera module houses the LED flash and the engraved ‘200-megapixel HP1 OIS f/2.2 aperture’ text.

This should confirm that the phone will indeed include a large camera sensor. The phone also appears to have curved edges and the iconic ‘Moto’ dimple. You’ll find the volume rocker and the power button on the right spine. The phone comes in Grey colour, but we believe other colours will be available at launch.
Surprisingly, the leaked live image corresponds to the render Evan Blass shared. The main difference is that the latter has 194-megapixel | OIS 1/15′′ text imprinted on it. We may never know whether the camera configuration was changed recently or if it was always a 200-megapixel lens.
Aside from the cameras, the Motorola Frontier specifications have also leaked. It is said to have a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display. It comes with a refresh rate of 144Hz and HDR 10+ support.
