Motorola Air Charging Features
Earlier this year, the Lenovo – owned Motorola took the wraps off of air charging technology. However, it faced a major limitation of charging at a distance of up to 100 cms only. The latest device comes as a major upgrade from its previous release. It also charges beyond some minor obstacles like paper, leather, or similar materials.
Motorola Air charging device uses its own tailor-made algorithm and an independent CPU, allowing stable charging at all times. However, the devices can be charged at only 5W. This makes it quite hard to determine exactly how much time will it take to charge a device entirely. This still might be useful for smaller devices like earbuds and wireless earphones or smartwatches.
The latest offering by Motorola might sound similar to Xiaomi’s Mi Air Charge. However, Mi Air Charge is still in the concept phase, while Motorola now has a working prototype of the technology. Any further details are not out yet and will have to wait for the proper product release.
