Motorola officially launched its latest X-series flagship smartphone- the Moto X40, in China on Thursday, December 15, 2022. It is the first smartphone from the brand that comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The smartphone is available in two colour variants- Smoky Black and Tourmaline Blue. The phone will go on sale in China from December 22, 2022.
Moreover, the brand also revealed its Android 13-based MyUI 5.0 at the launch event on Thursday. The newly launched handset comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, the phone also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. According to the company, the smartphone also comes with an 11-layer cooling system for improved heat dissipation. Moreover, the company’s MAXE technology reduces energy consumption.

Moto X40 Price And Sale
The newly launched device can be pre-booked on Lenovo’s China store. However, its different variants are available at different price rates. The 8GB + 128GB storage model is available at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs 40,400).
In comparison, the 8GB + 256GB storage variant is available at CNY 3,699 (roughly 44,000), and the 12GB + 256GB variant for CNY 3,999 (roughly 47,600). Lastly, the 12GB RAM + 512GB model comes at CNY 4,299 (roughly 51,100).

Moto X40 Specifications
The newly launched smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 12GB of LPPDR5x RAM. The phone has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display and a 165Hz refresh rate.
Moreover, it comes with HDR10+ support and DC Dimming. The device features a 4,600 mAh battery and supports 125W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It runs on Android 13 with Motorola’s My UI 5.0 Skin on top. Additionally, the phone also features 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Regarding camera configuration, the phone has a triple rear camera setup. Its 50-megapixel primary camera comes with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature. A 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and 12-megapixel telephoto sensor ensure high-quality photos and videos.

Moreover, a 60-megapixel front camera is provided for selfies and video chats. The company also claims that the smartphone can get 50 percent of battery backup with a 7-minute charge. The device also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and many other features.
