Moto X40 Is Set To Launch With A Very New Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Lenovo-owned Motorola will be likely to introduce the Motorola Moto X40 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The smartphone was recently introduced online and will likely be the successor to last year’s Motorola Moto X30 Pro, which debuted in China. Moreover, a Motorola smartphone with the model number XT2301-5 was also reveal on China’s TENAA certification website. The smartphone is anticipated to be the device listed.

In India, Motorola very recently debuted its Motorola Moto Edge 30 range of phones. The business typically introduces its Edge portfolio in China as the Moto X series. So, later this year, it will debut in China as the Moto X40 series. Chen Jin, the general manager of Lenovo China Mobile, has teased the smartphone’s arrival in China and disclosed some of its key specifications.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC supports INT4, Wi-Fi 7 connection, and real-time raytracing for games. Furthermore, the new mobile platform is compatible with picture sensors such as the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 and sensors that support Sony’s new HDR format. It will further improve AI capabilities as well as Cognitive ISP.

Moto X40 Specifications (Expected)

The X40 will come with LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone will have the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, unveiled at next month’s Snapdragon Summit event, which will take place from November 15 to November 17.

Moreover, the device will feature 68W fast charging technology rather than the 125W fast charging technology seen on the X30 Pro. The Moto X40’s front camera features a 32-megapixel primary lens. Additionally, the smartphone’s rear has three lenses (Primary, Ultra-Wide Angle and Macro). These lenses have 50-megapixel, 13-megapixel, and 5-megapixel resolutions, respectively.
