If MiOS arrives in the future, it could be similar to Huawei’s HarmonyOS or a new Android Open Source Project (AOSP) skin with a unique design. It could use a brand-new design interface, shedding the negative perception of bloatware and advertisements often associated with MIUI.

This could also allow Xiaomi to use a unified operating system across its smartphones, tablets, wearables and electric vehicles lineup. It will help the company develop its ecosystem with unique features and seamless connectivity across all its hardware.
