Last year, Microsoft announced that they were working on a new Microsoft Office that will work without a subscription. The company has now confirmed that it will be Microsoft Office 2021. Various business owners have welcomed the gesture made by the company.
The company made the move to cloud mandatory, stating it offered many benefits that the offline version would. The new version is for consumers and small business owners.

Microsoft Office 2021 Details
The Microsoft Office 2019 Home and Student came with a price tag of $149.99 and the Home and Business $249.99. The company confirms that pricing will stay the same for the upcoming Microsoft Office 2021. However, the price for the Professional Plus, Standard and the individual apps that were being offered might be increased by up to 10 per cent. Also, the company is introducing the Office 2021 LTSC version that is aimed at commercial customers.
The tech giant is also dumping Skype for Business client in favour of the Microsoft Teams app. If you want to use Skype for Business, you will be able to download it from the Microsoft Download Center.

They also said that it will be available on both Windows as well as Mac. What might come as a surprise is that the new Microsoft Office 2021 will also come in a 32-bit version.
Also included is a new Dark Mode for all Microsoft Office applications, something users have been waiting for quite a while now. Office 2021 will offer five years of support, meaning it will stay relevant in the near future.

Microsoft is all set to launch Office 2021 in the latter half of the year, with OneNote included.
