Micromax is an Indian brand based in Gurugram and it was a major revelation in the smartphone market up until a few years back. After that, it gradually fizzled owing to a lot of factors. However, in recent years, they have made a major comeback with their smartphones, and Micromax IN 2 is the latest one waiting in their pipeline to hit the shelves.

Micromax has been an outlet for people who needs affordable smartphones at a decent price. They were a popular brand before they stopped being so. Now they have made a comeback and the Micromax IN series is one on which their trajectory will depend a lot. Before the Micromax IN 2, there was Micromax IN 1 phone which was a decent budget option.

The Micromax IN Note 2 features an AMOLED display with a triple camera setup. The IN 2 will be the dialled-down version of this. The Micromax IN 2 will be the next phone in line after Micromax IN 1.

The leak- What are the tipped specifications?
The specifications of the phone have been leaked online but there has been no official announcement from the company itself. Micromax IN 2 will be a budget-friendly one, featuring a 6.5-inches IPS LCD display. However, there will be eye-catching features like a 90Hz refresh rate as well. A 48-megapixel primary camera with a couple of 2-megapixel cameras is tipped to be in the phone and one of them can also be macro-lens, it is not yet confirmed.

The front-facing camera will have an 8-megapixel sensor. The Micromax IN 2’s storage and RAM options are still unconfirmed. A MicroSD card support will be there on the phone.
The phone will have a polycarbonate back, as is common in budget options. Under the hood, it will have a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC with a 5000mAh battery. The same processor is in Redmi 10 Prime and will give the phone good marketability. The price will be somewhere between Rs 10,000 to Rs 11,000.
