Xiaomi has launched their Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition and Mi TV ES 2022 smart TVs in China. While the former is a more premium model, the latter is priced at a much lower rate. Moreover, both the Smart TVs come with different specifications and features.
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition is launched to compete with the high-end premium TVs in the market. The Smart TV comes with a 3D LUT fil industrial-grade color correction technology for a super accurate color reproduction. Additionally, the Smart TV comes with a dual front camera setup alongside a dual-channel 12.5W speaker system.
Prices & Availability
The new Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition price in China is set at CNY 5,999. This converts to roughly Rs. 68,900 in for the 55-inch model. Furthermore, the 65-inch model comes with a price tag of CNY 7,999 which is roughly Rs. 91,900. Moreover, the 75-inch model comes with a price tag of CNY 9,999 which is approximately Rs. 1,14,800.

Meanwhile, the Mi TV ES 2022 price in China is set at CNY 3,399. This converts to roughly Rs. 39,000 for the 55-inch option. Moreover, the 65-inch variant comes with a price tag of CNY 4,399 which converts to roughly Rs. 50,500. Lastly, the 75-inch variant is priced at CNY 5,999 in China. Moreover, this converts to approximately Rs. 68,900. The TVs will official release on July 9 and are already available for pre-ordering via Mi.com.
Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition Specifications
Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition features a 4K QLED display that comes with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Additionally, the display features a 97 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage alongside 10.7 billion colors. Moreover, as mentioned before, the TV comes with a 3D LUT film industrial grade color correction technology. We can also find a 120Hz fast refresh rate on the TV, which is incredible for a seamless experience.
Furthermore, the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition also comes with IMX Enhanced video and 120Hz MEMC support as well. When it comes to the audio, the TV features 100W audio system. For photos and videos, the TV comes with a dual AI front camera with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. On the processor front, the TV is powered by the MediaTek MT9950 SoC. Additionally, chipset is coupled with 4.5GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

Coming to the design, the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition sports a full metal body with ultra-thin bezels. It also comes with an HDMI 2.1 + VRR support alongside Dolby Vision support for gamers. According to the company, the 55-inch model comes with a 100 backlight partitions. Moreover, Xiaomi claims that the 65-inch model features 224 backlight partitions and the 75-inch model has 255 partitions. This basically allows users to have a better viewing experience as it enhances the brightness, contrast, and image quality.
Mi TV ES 2022 Specifications
Meanwhile, the Mi TV ES 2022 features three display sizes as variants. The 55-inch model features 32 partitions, the 65-inch model comes with 45 partitions and the 75-inch model has 60 partitions. On the processor front, the smart TV is powered by the MediaTek MT9638 SoC. Additionally, the chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

When it comes to additional features, the TV comes with MEMC technology support. Additionally, it also comes with HDR 10+ support and a 94 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Furthermore, the TV comes with a two-channel 12.5W four-unit speaker system that features stereo playback support. One can find the XiaoAI voice assistant as well in the TV. There are 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports and 1 AV port in the TV.
