The Mi TV 5X series of smart TVs by Xiaomi have finally gone official in India. The TVs were launched during the Xiaomi Smarter Living 2022 event on June 26, 2021, which is today. These are smart TVs taht run on Android TV 10 OS and are packed with features. The TVs have been launched as a successor to last year’s Mi TV 4X series of TVs. Xiaomi smart TVs have been very successful in the market and it only makes sense for the company to bring out a successor of their popular Mi TV 4X series. Without any further ado, here is a quick rundown of the price and specs of the newly launched range of smart TVs by Xiaomi in India.
Mi 5X TV Price in India and Availability
The Mi 5X TV price in India starts at Rs. 31,999 for the 43-inch variant. Further, the 50-inch variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 41,999 and the 55-inch model costs Rs. 47,999 in the country. When it comes to the availability details of the smart TVs, they will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Mi.com, Croma, Mi Home, Mi Studio and partner retail stores from September 7 at 12PM.

Coming to launch offers, the Mi TV 5X will come with up to Rs. 3,000 instant discount via HDFC Bank credit cards alongside EasyEMI conversions. In addition, buyers can also avail for up to nine months of no-cost EMI options on the newly launched smart TV. There are no-cost EMI options from other banks as well.
Mi TV 5X Specifications
Starting off with the display, the Mi TV 5X sports a 4K display resolution alongside Vivid Picture Engine 2. There are three display variants for the smart TV, namely, 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch. The smart TV also comes with Adaptive Brightness feature which automatically adjusts to home environment brightness. Additionally, the TV comes with a 96.6 percent screen-to-body ratio alongside premium metallic bezels. We can also see support for Dolby Vision, HDR 10 and HDR 10+ as well. Reality Flow MEMC engine along with one billion colour view are also one of the key specifications of the latest TV by Xiaomi.

Moving to the audio setup of the TV, the Mi TV 5X comes with Dolby Atmos support. The smart TV packs 40W stereo speakers as well. However, the 43-inch variant comes with 30W speakers instead of 40W ones. On the processor front, a 64-bit quad-core A55 CPU powers the device. This quad-core chipset pairs up with the Mali G52 MP2 GPU. The chipset and GPU further pair up with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
On the software front, the Mi TV 5X runs on Android TV 10 OS with PatchWall 4. Now, Xiaomi has collaborated with IMDb to bring content from across 30 streaming platforms. Additionally, PatchWall 4 will also offer users with over 75 live channels as well. The best thing? These live channels do not cost anything and are completely free. The TV also comes with an in-built Chromecast along with Play Store access and Kids Mode.

According to the company, their latest smart TV series comes with specialised mics for an enhanced Google Assistant experience. Coming to the connectivity front, the TV packs three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, one in-built Auto Low Latency Mode for gaming and more.
