Mi 11T 5G Receives FCC Certification; Software and Other Details Tipped

Xiaomi’s 11T series of devices have recently been a rumour mill favourite of sorts. The 11T series devices are quite literally everywhere to be seen. From having appeared in multiple certification websites to their specifications being tipped, we know quite a bit about these devices. Now, the Mi 11T 5G has been spotted on the FCC certification website. This reveals the software and display details of the device.

Besides, the Mi 11T 5G has recently been certified in Indonesia as well. The smartphone bagging certifications at this rate only hints at an imminent launch of the device. Then, we saw the Mi 11T Pro 5G appear on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification. A couple of days ago, the vanilla variant appeared on the IMEI database, which finally confirmed the moniker.

A report by Gizmo China revealed that the Mi 11T release date is set for September 23, 2021. However, nothing has been confirmed from the company’s side of things yet. Besides, the Mi 11T price is under wraps as well and only the key specifications of the device are all we know about. Without any further ado, let us take a quick look at what the FCC certification of the device tells us.

Mi 11T 5G Specifications (FCC)

Starting off with the FCC certification listing of the device, it lists the smartphone with the model number 21081111RG. Now, the FCC listing also reveals other things like the software details of the device. The Mi 11T 5G will run on MIUI 12.5 out of the box. Going by that, the device will be running on Android 11 OS. Additionally, the FCC listing also lists the LTE bands that the device will come with support for.

The good thing is that the FCC listing also gives us a rough idea about the kind of display size we can expect to see on the Mi 11T 5G. The listing suggests a approximately a big 6.8-inch display going by the overall dimension of 174mm of the device. Now, FCC listing also reveals a big rectangular camera module for the rear camera setup of the device. For now, this is all that the FCC listing reveals when it comes to the Mi 11T specs.

However, going by previous leaks, we can derive a couple of things as far as Xiaomi Mi 11T specs are concerned. Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC is expected to power the device, according to a report by GSMArena. The report also suggests that the Mi 11T 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. We will also see third tele-macro 3X sensor in the setup. The device will come a 120Hz fast refresh rate and we can expect to see an AMOLED display.
